Wild Negroni

An Italian favourite brought a taste of the Scottish wild.
The Negroni is a long-standing favourite cocktail of the Italians. We swap out the gin and bring in our Birch and Elderflower spirit for a shift to the wild side.
Ingredients
- 25 ml Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Spirit
- 25 ml sweet vermouth
- 25 ml campari
- soda or sparkling water, to top (optional)
- lemon rind and orange slice, to garnish
Method
- Add the spirit, vermouth, and campari to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
- Strain into a martini glass.
- Add ice cubes to the glass.
- Run lemon rind around the rim and add to the glass.
- Garnish with a half slice of orange.
- Top with a small splash of soda if desired.
